First and Second Year Experiences

The Office of First and Second Year Experiences (FYE/SYE) works alongside campus partners to engage students in a myriad of activities that promote academic success, social engagement, cultural competence, civic engagement, and career and professional development.

Military Student Services

Military Student Services works with veterans, active service members, spouses and dependents to ease the transition from military life to academics.

Orientation and Transition Programs

Orientation is your official welcome to VCU and will prepare you for your first semester. VCU offers a variety of Orientation programs based on your experience, so whether this is your first time at college, you are transferring from another school or you are returning after some time off, you can find the Orientation experience that works for you!
